Best activity…..get your asthma under control.

Avoid foods/enviorments that cause it. Use an inhaler to help keep it under control. And use the long term inhalers to keep from getting Athsma attacks..

nevadablondie2008,
You appear to have answered your own question! You do just what you are able to do. Many asthmatic people are involved in many different activities. Some are more capable than others. Most use medication to relieve the symptoms. Unless you are severely compromised by your condition, your activities are only limited by your asthma, and the medication that you use. From your question, it appears that you do not use medication. If this is the case, you would be advised to contact your doctor and obtain some medication that will assist in making your life easier.

Hope this helps

I have really bad asthma but i am really quite sporty, when i was younger i was very bad got it under control now, i was told not to play sport again when i was around 11 but kept going when i was 12 i went to a doctor and he was afraid i had permantly damaged my lungs, but he rocks so now he washes out my lungs each year and i take ventelin inhaler symbicourt inhaler and singulair tablets each night i also take a sea salt nose spray , this all stop the reactions in my lungs where by the vessels all close as you probably know, so float the idea with your doc it does get better like i am now on scholarship for rugby in college i play 4 other sports so when you get it under control you can do anything, but at the mo walk as much as you can struggle through it gets better the fitter you get, so keep going, hope it gets better soon its an absolute pain in the ****.

yoga. Yoga is very good for someone with asthma and can actually help you learn not to panic during flares and to control your breathing.

First thing though is to get the asthma under control with the correct medication and treatment plan. If your doctor is not doing this find another one who will. Also if possible see an asthma specialist.
