How do I make the school to put in air condion for my child with asthma?

My daughter has asthma. I am assuming that I would need a note from the doctor, but what after that? She starts kinder in september. I live in nj
I know there is a way. I have worked at a school and kids have to be placed in the A.C. I am not sure if I need a 504 plan or what
