how can i buy an asthma inhaler without a prescription or without having to see a doctor?

lidia m asked:

I’m 19 and I’ve had asthma since i was 2 and lately it’s been getting pretty bad at night. I start wheezing and it’s very hard to sleep. I don’t have a doctor and i have no insurance so how can i get myself an inhaler without having to be asked for a prescription?

Probably some black market website online with a suspicious name like ‘webmeds.com’. I don’t know, google it.

Try going to Walgreens and getting that Primatene Mist inhaler. I’ve tried it before, and it work relatively well. I know how it to is to be without insurance and have asthma.

there are a lot of different kinds out there- I would suggest you double check my advice but I have found that the Albuterol Sulfate inhaler is about the best. My Dr has me on that. She had me on Advair along with my Albuterol Sulfate for 1 week–now I’m back to just the Albuterol. Goog Luck but I really do wish you would get seen by a Dr, though. Asthma is nothing to fool around with–it CAN actually kill you! You can go to the ER and the Drs there have to check you. They are prohibited by law to refuse you medical attention. If you try that, you might just ‘luck-out’ and they MIGHT have one there at the ER you can have? it’s worth a try

THEN GET A DOCTOR. especially if your asthma is bad you need to see a proffesional before things get serious and you will end up in hospital.

Albuterol is Rx only.
I believe Primatene Mist is no longer being sold.
