Are there any home remedies that can lessen the effects of asthma symptoms?

asthma
kevin24 asked:

I went to my doctor due to the asthma symptoms, and he told me that it would go away when the pollen levels get a touch lower.

He told me to try some home treatment and remedies, like honey, in the meantime, and I wanted to see more suggestions.

Thanks for the help!

well if there is a local honey keeper then you should go get honey there because you get immune to the pollen and other things in the air because it is in your system you should eat a tablespoon of the honey every morning and only local honey will work not storebought because there are different things in the air in different places so you need to get local =) hope this helped i do this every morning and this helps me a ton

Briefly - squash, onions, lots of vitamin C (orange juice) and vitamin E (wheat germ - muffins) and particularly fish for its Omega 3, Brazil nuts for their selenium, halibut, spinach and black-eyed peas for their magnesium.

Well caffiene is a mild bronchodilator so you may try drinking soda or coffee. Keep in mind that this doesnt work fast, it takes time for it to dissolve in your bloodstream. Also, you may try Oregano, I have heard from several of my patient that it helps them. There is an Oregano supplement called Oregomax that you can buy at most vitamin stores.
